I have worked in NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) for over 20 years, beginning my career within the NHS in 2003 and later moving into specialist independent advocacy.
My experience spans the full CHC process, including Checklists, multidisciplinary assessments and Decision Support Tools, reviews and appeals, Fast Track, retrospective claims and Independent Reviews.
Having been involved in CHC since its formative years, I understand both how the process is intended to work and where things can go wrong.
